Blueberry Sauce


  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice

    Rinse and pick over the berries. Stir together the ¼ cup sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon and allspice in small saucepan until smooth and well blended. Add blueberries. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat, cool slightly. Serve warm.
