Christmas Cookies

  • ½ lb. butter
  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 cups flourred & green candied cherries

    Mix butter, sugar, and flour well, chill at least overnight. Pinch off small pieces of dough, roll in palms of hands (slightly larger than a marble) and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make indent with thumb in center of each cookie, place ½ of a candied cherry in indent. Bake at 350-degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies should not be brown.
