Custard Pie
1 cup of cold milk
½ tsp. vanilla
1 large or 2 small eggs
dash of salt
3 Tbs. sugar
Use double or triple the amounts above according to size of pie desired. Mix all of the above ingredients and beat well. For plain custard, pour into unbaked pie shell, sprinkle top of mixture with nutmeg. Bake in 425-degree oven for 10 minutes, then 45 minutes or until done at 350-degrees. (Add one cup of coconut for coconut custard, sprinkle on egg mixture before sprinkling nutmeg.)
