Deep Dish Blueberry Cream Pie (Ellen)

  • 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 21 oz. can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¾tsp. salt3 egg yolks, beaten

    Put pie shell in deep dish and fill with blueberry pie filling. Blend sour cream, sugar, and salt in a bowl; blend in beaten egg yolks. Pour mixture over pie filling. Bake for 10 minutes at 450-degrees, lower oven to 350-degrees and bake 40 minutes longer. Topping will be browned but not set. Chill thoroughly before serving.
