Devil Dogs

  • COOKIE
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 5 Tbs. coco
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbs. shortening
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1¼ tsp. soda
  • 1 cup milk

    Mix cookie ingredients thoroughly, drop by Tbs. onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375-degrees. Put 2 cookies together with filling. Freeze very well, good keepers

    FILLING
  • ½ cup shortening
  • 5 Tbs. marshmallow
  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • a dash of vanilla
  • a dash of salt
