Fudge Balls

  • ½ cup butter or oleo
  • 1½ oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • confectioner's sugar

    Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan over low heat. Cool. Add sugar, egg, vanilla and salt. Mix thoroughly. Stir in flour. Shape into balls using one tsp. of dough for each ball. Place on ungreased sheet, bake at 375-degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Roll in confectioner's sugar.
