Italian Love Cake

  • 1 box marble cake mix
  • 2 lb. ricotta cheese
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Prepare cake according to package directions. In separate bowl, beat cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Pour cake batter into a greased & floured 9 X 13" cake pan; spoon cheese mixture over batter. Bake at 350-degrees 1 to 1¼ hours. Cool completely.

    Frosting:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small box instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping

    Mix pudding & milk with wooden spoon until thickened. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cold cake. Refrigerate.
