Manhattan Meatballs

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbs. margarine
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 10-oz. jar Kraft apricot preserves
  • 2 Tbs. chopped parsley
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

    Combine meat, crumbs, onion, eggs, parsley & salt; mix lightly. Shape into 1" meatballs. Brown in margarine; drain. Place in 2-quart casserole. Combine preserves & barbecue sauce; pour over meatballs. Bake at 350-degrees, 1 hour stirring occasionally.
