Peanut Butter Fudge

Boil 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of milk to a soft-ball stage (when a small amount of mixture is dropped into a glass of cold water and the mixture can be rolled into a soft ball). Remove from heat and add 1 cup of marshmallow crème and 1 cup of peanut butter. Beat until thick, spread into a buttered 8 X 8" pan, chill and cut into squares.
