Pie Dough

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbs. cold water

    Cut shortening into flour and salt until small particles. Sprinkle water on top of mixture. Blend with hands just until dough holds together. Divide into thirds and roll out on lightly floured surface with rolling pin covered with stockinet. Makes three bottoms or tops.
