Pizza Dough
1½ cups water (divided)
3 tsp. each sugar & shortening
¾ tsp. salt
1 Pkg. dry yeast
3 cups flour
3 Tbs. salad oil
Boil 1 cup water. Pour over sugar, shortening, & salt. Stir to dissolve & cool to lukewarm. Soften yeast in ½ cup lukewarm water & add with flour (adjust if necessary to make soft dough). Knead about 10 times on lightly floured surface. Spread with fingers on greased pans; brush dough with salad oil. Let raise 15 minutes. Spread with topping, bake about 25 minutes in 400-degree oven.
