Short-Cut Pie Dough
Put 1 cup of flour into a pie pan (9"). Add ½ cup of mayonnaise (it cannot be salad dressing) and 1 Tbs. cold water to flour, and stir until well blended. With hands, pat dough up around sides of pie pan and evenly on bottom. (This is a good, rich pie dough but is difficult to handle for a top crust it is very good for meat pies and when used with mashed potato topping instead of top pie crust). Bake as any other pie, 350-degrees to 375-degrees and length of time depends on filling.
