Sour Cream Coffee Cake (Barbara)
1 cup margarine
½ tsp. vanilla
2 cups sugar
2 cups sifted flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sour cream
¼ tsp. salt
Topping:
½ cup nuts
2 Tbs. brown sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
Cream together margarine, sugar & eggs. Fold in sour cream & vanilla, then add sifted dry ingredients. Spoon ½ the batter into a 10" tube pan, then put topping on, add remaining batter & another recipe of topping. Bake at 350-degrees for 55 60 minutes. Cool almost completely before removing from pan. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
