Tandy Takes

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ tsp. salt

Beat eggs well, adding sugar gradually until thick. Slowly add milk and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together, then gently fold into egg mixture. Pour into greased jellyroll pan and bake at 350-degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until center is done. Take from oven and spread with 1 cup peanut butter (I let the cake cool for about 5 minutes). Let cake cool thoroughly. Melt 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate with one Tbs. Butter and spread on top of peanut butter. (I used 2/3 of a 12 oz. bag of Nestle's bits – still want to try Hershey's milk chocolate). Cut into squares, serve.
