Wacky Cake

1½ cups flour

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking soda

¼ cup cocoa

¼ tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla

1/3 cup salad oil

1 cup cold water

1 Tbs. vinegar

Sift into 9 X 9" baking pan; flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa, and salt. Make 3 indentations: add the following into the indentations: vanilla, salad oil, cold water & vinegar. Mix well in pan and bake in same for 30 minutes at 350-degrees. Serve hot or cold, plain or frosted.
