115 Windy Hill Rd. Downingtown, PA 19335-4604 August 7, 2001 Dear Family, Wow! The family reunion is only a few days away. We are looking forward to a great day of fellowship with the family. In addition we are planning a little post-reunion golfing which should prolong the fun. I think it will be a wonderful weekend. This has been a great summer for us. As usual we have been very busy, traveling, golfing, and doing projects around the house. We are planning to put an addition on our house that should be started later this month. We are screening in our deck, enlarging our bathroom, turning our current bedroom into a walk-in closet, and adding a new bedroom. I cannot wait for this project to be completed. I think it will give us some much needed room. Both Keith and Cyndie are well, and unfortunately cannot come to the reunion this year. Keith is now working for net2phone, which bought out the intenet messaging portion of the company he worked for. He was part of the package, so he is with them currently. This may or may not last for him. Cyndie is still with MCP Hanahman, but she would like to relocate to someplace in Chester or Delaware County as the commute is a bear. However she is young, and will have to deal with it until something better comes along. We are both still teaching, and will work at least this year. I will probably work for three or four more years. Pa. has just enacted a new retirement package for teachers, which is very nice. Each year it gets a little harder to go back. Next year I will be training a new teacher as my teaching partner, plus I have a student teacher, so I'll be off to a busy start. Life is like that,- though, and I have decided that I must like it, because I always find myself in that situation. Hope you all have health and serenity in your lives. Love, Barbara & Keith |
