Dear Family:
The heat of summer is upon us. I am looking forward to the family reunion in August at Union Bridge, Maryland. Of course, the reunions will never be the same without our dear loved ones that we have lost over the last two years.
Jerry and I returned from a great vacation to Italy on June 8th. We had two wonderful weeks with 20 of our great friends. In April we all, (Jerry, Joda & I) went to Las Vegas to share our happy marriage of Jason and Amy. They plan to be at the reunion this year and I hope to see all of you there. The wedding was fun at the Venetian Hotel on April 17th at 4pm. I've enclosed a picture of the family: Amy, Jason, her parents, Debbie & Ronnie and Jerry and me.
I plan to make a copy of Uncle Wes's last letter for my keepsake. He wrote it just before the accident. I'm sorry we missed the memorial but I'm sure he was uplifted by all of your expressions of love.
