Dearest Family

It is so nice to receive the Robin and enjoy all of the wonderful letters of our extended family. I'd like to wish a huge thank you to Pete and his family for getting this program restarted with their wonderful letters in the fall of 06. I expect it will be the fall of 07 before I see it again but I'll be looking forward to it from now until then.

We have decided to do a one time mixup concerning the order of progress through our clan because Sally recently had back surgery and is in rehab. at the moment. In the future Aunt Jeanne or Cousin Jim, whoever in your clan has the letter last, please pass it on to Percy's family. Their address is on their letter head

It will progress through my immediate familiy in the normal manner and Rich will send it on to Sally. When your family is finished sally, this one time only, please pass it on to Max. & Alice.

This has been a bit stressful year for me as I developed breathing problems in December and then failed a stress test in late January. They admitted me directly from the stress test and performed quad by-pass surgery the first week of February. I went through rehab for 9 weeks in Mar. & Apr. and quit to finish my rehab at home at that point. The Friedman's graciously offered the loan of their treadmill and Dan offered the use of their stationery bike. We had bought Paul and Shirley's rowing machine some years previous so we have a decent Gym setup which Trudy and I have made good use of for the rest of 06. She does 4 or more miles a day on the treadmill and though I am considerably less faithful, I have made good use of them all.

Needless to say our vacationing during the year was a big zero. However, we did visit in Vermont on Christmas day (and several days surrounding) and spent a couple days before New Years with Percy and Polly in Mass.

Terry, you can tell your friends at Ski Sawmill that we expect to have the 08 reunion there and I'd like to congratulate them on doing a wonderful job for all of our family the past couple years and we are looking forward to this next year as well.

Tim, it is truly wonderful that you are able to make a living working at your favorite hobby. It was good to hear of your family and their accomplishments and your new business.

Joe, it was good to see you at the reunion and I apologize for not making it to your mothers' funeral. We never got to spend a whole lot of time with your folks but I admired your dad very much and he was the topic of my thesis for my English Lit class while we were in New Mexico. I'm so glad that things are going good for you.

Let's keep the Robin moving at a good pace and we hope to see you all at this years reunion.

Love: Skip & Trudy Mickey
